This three-part piece was inspired by the connective life force that ties the natural world to all living things--water--and its ensuing relationship with light. Individually, each image offers its own distinct depiction of water; collectively, the panels explore how light transcends the viewer's perception to affect the entire viewing experience. Indeed, light influences not just color but tone, rhythm, and perhaps even water's very function as a life-sustaining element.
